How to play

Turn facial movement into sound. Start with the camera, calibrate once, then choose how you want to play.

01

Get ready

  1. Allow camera access and keep your face inside the frame.
  2. Choose Automatic Calibration and follow the movement prompts.
  3. Make sure Local sound is on, or choose a MIDI device.
02

Choose a way to play

  • Percussion: quick face movements play drum and sound-effect samples.
  • Theremin: mouth and eye opening shape a continuous synth or a stream of notes.
  • Performer: point with your nose and trigger with your mouth or eyes.
03

Shape the response

  • Notes turns movement into pitches from your chosen key and scale.
  • CC sends a smooth control value to music software.
  • Trigger plays once when a quick movement is detected.
  • Expression controls how softly or strongly each sound begins.
04

If nothing happens

  • Use the camera and MIDI buttons above the image to turn access on or retry it. If the browser still blocks access, open the site controls beside the address bar and choose Allow.
  • Face the light and keep your eyes, nose, and mouth visible.
  • If movement feels weak or too sensitive, calibrate that gesture again.
